Had to run out to get some parts to fix the lawn mower before I could cut the knee high grass we had in the back yard. I know things grow faster in spring and summer but sheesh. I just cut the grass on Saturday and already needs cut again. I fix the mower cut the grass about 3 times and have to fix it again. I guess I could invest in a new mower but this one works fine when it is fixed and it is only 3 years old.

Our side yard is filled with poison ivy, and the dogs keep dragging it inside. We have pulled, cut, burned and sprayed the stuff and it keeps coming back to life. If someone knows how to kill this rugged vine please let me know, it is like that ex-wife who keeps coming back into your life after you pulled, cut, burned and sprayed her out of your life.
