Amazemerize

I know it is the summer season and I know it is going to be hot and humid here in the south but this last week has been horrific. It has been very hot with a terrible humidity and I am not doing very well in this stew pot we have going on here in Nashville. The A/C in my truck just stopped working and every day I am a wet mess when I get home from work. I need to get it fixed and soon or I might just melt in the heat before fall gets here. I do not worry to much about the cold of winter, we have very mild winters but the summer season here is hat and humid two things I have had enough of this year.

We had an F-5 tornado go through our southern counties and I think that the loss of two lives was a tragedy, but it could of been much worse. Most of the homes that were hit had no one at home, it was about noon so everyone was in school or at work, if it had been at 5pm it would of been a terrible tragedy. We have the problem of not being able to see the coming storms because of the trees and hills. So it is critical to have a good weather radio to keep track of the storms.

March came in like a lion and according to the old wives tales it is supposed to go out like a lamb if it comes in like a lion. This year it is coming and going like a lion we had storms the first week and this week which is the last week of March it has been very cold and we even had some snow this week. I can not wait for spring to finally get here it has been a terrible winter and it looks like it does not want to end at all.

It looks like we have made it through another winter here in Music City USA better known as Nashville Tennessee. We are no in the midst of the spring storm season. Diva our baby dog hates thunder and will be losing her mind for the next few months. She is a total mess when a storm comes through and already has had a couple of fits due to thunder this early spring. Lets hope it is a mild spring storm season if nothing else than to save our carpet and bed from being used as Diva’s potty when it thunders.

As I keep getting older every day I have come to realize that I hate the cold weather and I do not see a way that I will at this late stage of life come to like it very much. I moved here about ten years ago when it got to hot for me in Arizona, I do not care if it is a dry heat 110 is still to dam hot for this old man. Now the cold is starting to bother my joints and I may have to start looking for a warmer place to pitch my tent. A beach somewhere sounds pretty nice to me right now, it is 30 degrees with a cold mist falling. It is plain depressing to look outside today and if I set foot out side of my house it will not be at my own request. How long is it until spring?
