If you’ve ever read anything by Peter Hall, you will appreciate his easy to follow writing style and honest reviews of the vehicles under his microscope. His review of the new Freelander in the “Telegraph” is a great example of his word-craft and his critical eye for details.

Hall was invited to attend the secret photo shoot of the Freelander along with two other vehicles in preparation for this year’s British International Motor Show. He had complete access to the vehicle other than actually driving it and it certainly whetted my appetite for a test drive when it hits the dealership showrooms in November.

Since the new Iphone has come out I have been giving more and more thought to getting one of them. I know there has been a bunch of issues with the new model and the first Iphone too. I hope they get the bugs worked out of the operating system for this new phone soon. In my perfect world all the electronics that I buy would work right the first time I try to use them and keep working too. I know this is not reality but I can wish for my world to be perfect and I will continue to do so.
